18 December 2006
'Tis the season...

...
to be a manic multi-tasker. I've been decorating the house, wrapping gifts, and signing our enormous batch of holiday cards--and I discovered over the weekend that I'd been tagged by my critique partner Lacey Kaye!

So here goes...

Four jobs I've had (steady career progression, which is nice):

  3. museum exhibition designer
  4. Hallmark store employee

Four places I've lived (when I move, I really move far away):

  1. Seattle, WA
  2. Spokane, WA
  3. Pullman, WA
  4. Aberystwyth, Wales

Four favorite foods (a tough one, because I have food allergies):

  1. Cashew chicken (Thai)
  2. Soy Delicious Chunky Mint Madness Frozen Dessert
  3. Blueberry bagels

Four movies I could watch over and over:

  3. Shakespeare in Love
  4. Pride & Prejudice (the new one--yes, the new one)

Four TV shows I enjoy:

  1. How I Met Your Mother
  2. Gilmore Girls
  3. What Not to Wear
  4. -----

Four Places I've Traveled:

  4. New York

Four websites I go to (almost) daily:

  4. All About Romance

Four people I'm tagging to do this too:

  1. Holly Cupala
  2. Erin Eisenberg
  3. Jennifer Parker
  4. Diana Di-Tolla
And for fun I'm going to add the following:

Four books I re-read in 2006:

  1. Jo Beverley, "The Demon's Mistress" (a novella in Three Heroes)
  2. Loretta Chase, Lord of Scoundrels
  3. Julia Ross, My Dark Prince
  4. Anne Stuart, To Love a Dark Lord

Four new authors I tried in 2006:

  1. Naomi Bellis, Step into Darkness
  2. Elizabeth Hoyt, The Raven Prince (loved the fairy tale epigraphs!)
  3. Naomi Novik, His Majesty's Dragon (dragons in the Napoleonic Wars!)
  4. Jeane Westin, Lady Anne's Dangerous Man

Four books to re-read in 2007:

  1. Dorothy Dunnett, Checkmate (although I'll have to read the first five Lymond books to get to this)
  2. Susanna Clarke, Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell
  3. Laura Kinsale, Flowers in the Storm
  4. Mary Jo Putney, Silk and Shadows
Four new authors to try in 2007:
