It's done! I finished Duchess in the Mirror and submitted to my first agent today. Now the nail-biting, agony-inducing wait begins...

So to entertain myself--and to keep my creative juices flowing--I began the as-yet-untitled Novel #2. It helps that November is National Novel Writing Month, when writers from all over the world race against the calendar to finish a 50,000-word draft.

I'm a bit behind, having started today, but I cranked out 10 pages this evening after Little Miss Mercer went to sleep. If I can do that much every day--wishful thinking?--then I'll have a 270-page manuscript by the end of the month.
